Sen. Rand Paul: Fauci Should Be Fired After NIH Letter Admitting It Funded Gain-of-Function Research

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) told “Axios” on Sunday that he wants Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), fired after the National Institutes of Health (NIH) admitted in a letter to Congress that it funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.

“And so in the letter they acknowledge that, yes, the viruses did gain in function. They became more dangerous. So they’ve created a virus. It doesn’t exist in nature. It’s become more dangerous. That is gain of function,” he said.

“Now, they try to justify it by saying, ‘Well, it was an unexpected result.’ I’m not sure I buy that. Think about it. You take an unknown virus, you combine it with another virus, and you get a super virus. You have no idea whether it gains functions or loses function,” Paul said. –Source

NIH quietly rewrites ‘gain-of-function’ definition amid greater scrutiny of controversial research

The National Institutes of Health quietly altered a key definition of “gain-of-function” research on its own website amid a wave of major scrutiny regarding its funding of controversial research in Wuhan, China.

The altered definition received significant attention after being noted by retired Navy officer Jeremy Redfern on Twitter on Friday afternoon. Source

Comic Book Artist Quits After DC Announces Superman Will Be LGBT

An artist with DC Comics said this week he’s leaving the company because he’s “tired of them ruining these characters.” His decision comes on the heels of the announcement that the next iteration of Superman will be bisexual.

Gabe Eltaeb, a colorist for DC Comics, said during an appearance on a YouTube show hosted by Ethan Van Sciver that he is exiting the brand when his contract runs out.

“I’m finishing out my contract with DC,” he said. “I’m tired of this. … I’m tired of them ruining these characters; they don’t have a right to do this.” Source

Mass events up, COVID cases down

In many countries, mass events are still banned; where they aren’t outright forbidden, they are still mostly frowned upon. However, recent data from the United States seem to suggest that so-called super-spreader events aren’t quite the super-spreaders many fear them to be.

“For weeks, crowds in the tens of thousands, mostly unmasked, have sat side-by-side now cheering on their teams at the halfway point of the season,” NBC reported. “All while doctors warned of games becoming potential super-spreader events. A frightening prospect at the time with hospitals already on the brink.”

And yet, “Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths are now all down nationwide,” the report continued. “Cases are now in steep decline in every college football state across the south, including Florida, where hospitalizations fell 64 percent last month, even as some 90,000 fans packed the [University of Florida] Gators’ stadium.” — Arutz Sheva (Source)

91 Research Studies Affirm Naturally Acquired Immunity to Covid-19: Documented, Linked, and Quoted

We should not force COVID vaccines on anyone when the evidence shows that naturally acquired immunity is equal to or more robust and superior to existing vaccines. Instead, we should respect the right of the bodily integrity of individuals to decide for themselves.

Public health officials and the medical establishment with the help of the politicized media are misleading the public with assertions that the COVID-19 shots provide greater protection than natural immunity. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, for example, was deceptive in her October 2020 published LANCET statement that “there is no evidence for lasting protective immunity to SARS-CoV-2 following natural infection” and that “the consequence of waning immunity would present a risk to vulnerable populations for the indefinite future.”

Immunology and virology 101 have taught us over a century that natural immunity confers protection against a respiratory virus’s outer coat proteins, and not just one, e.g. the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein. There is even strong evidence for the persistence of antibodies. Even the CDC recognizes natural immunity for chicken-pox and measles, mumps, and rubella, but not for COVID-19. Source

San Francisco temporarily closes In-N-Out Burger due to vaccine defiance

The San Francisco Department of Public Health closed In-N-Out on Oct. 14 because employees were not properly checking for customers’ vaccination documentation, the burger chain said in a statement.

In-N-Out said it properly posted signs of local vaccination requirements but refuses to strictly enforce them.

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” In-N-Out Chief Legal & Business Officer Arnie Wensinger said. “We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business.” Source

Florida Registers Nation’s Lowest COVID Case Numbers

Florida is now outperforming every state in the contiguous United States in terms of new COVID-19 cases per capita. And they did it all without a Vax Pass system, widespread business closures, mask mandates, and/or draconian lockdowns.

Outside of Hawaii and select outlying U.S. territories, Florida has the lowest COVID case rate in America.

And it all happened under the leadership of a man who the corporate media and ruling class have taken to labeling “DeathSantis” for his refusal to implement draconian COVID policies, such as mandatory masks, pharmaceutical injection mandates, business closures, and the like. Source

Covid Provided Cover for Greatest Transfer of Wealth — Top 1% Now Wealthier than ENTIRE middle class!

After years of declines, America’s middle class now holds a smaller share of U.S. wealth than the top 1%.

The middle 60% of U.S. households by income — a measure economists often use as a definition of the middle class — saw their combined assets drop to 26.6% of national wealth as of June, the lowest in Federal Reserve data going back three decades. For the first time, the super-rich had a bigger share, at 27%. — Bloomberg

Biden’s Defense Dept. Could Make Unvaxxed Navy SEALs Pay For Their Training

A growing number of U.S. Navy SEALs who are seeking a religious exemption to the Defense Department’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate are being threatened and, in some cases, harassed into submission, Fox News has learned.

A series of new directives by the Navy are promising severe punishment, including demotions, pay cuts and a ban on travel for SEALs, and other Navy service members, who do not comply with the vaccine mandate. For some SEALs who are in the process of seeking a religious exemption to the mandate, the process is nearly impossible to successfully complete to get a waiver, Fox News has been told.

A new directive by the Navy’s COVID Consolidated Disposition Authority (CCDA) issued Thursday states that if SEALs decline the vaccine, the Navy may seek to recover from each individual SEAL the money the government has spent on training them. For an individual SEAL, the training costs alone is estimated to amounting to several million dollars. Source

Media Silent on Virginia School Board’s Alleged Coverup of Trans Bathroom Rape

Mainstream broadcast networks failed to cover a Tuesday night report that alleged a Virginia school board covered up a rape allegation against a boy who wore a skirt in the girls’ bathroom, according to a media analysis.

The Loudoun County School Board kept the rape allegations quiet as it successfully pushed to adopt a policy that allows students to choose which bathroom to use based on their preferred gender, according to the Daily Wire. The alleged rapist was reportedly transferred to another school where he was later charged with sexual battery and abduction of another student. Neither ABC, CBS, nor NBC dedicated primetime coverage to the report, according to the Media Research Center. Networks focused coverage on Texas governor Greg Abbott (R.) as he signed an executive order that bans vaccine mandates.

“How can one call itself a news organization when it blacks out coverage of a story like this, which has such broad impact on the safety of our children and education?” Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, tweeted.  Source

Researchers: Zuckerberg Spent $419.5M to Push Democrat Votes in 2020

During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending. He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally nonpartisan — but demonstrably ideological — nonprofit organizations.

Analysis conducted by our team demonstrates this money significantly increased Joe Biden’s vote margin in key swing states. In places like Georgia, where Biden won by 12,000 votes, and Arizona, where he won by 10,000, the spending likely put him over the top.

This unprecedented merger of public election offices with private resources and personnel is an acute threat to our republic and should be the focus of electoral reform efforts moving forward. Source

Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine With Comirnaty Label Still Not Available in US

Officials in 19 states confirmed this week to The Epoch Times they have not received doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine labeled Comirnaty. So did pharmacies in New York, California, and Missouri.

A Pfizer spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that there are no doses of Comirnaty in the United States as of Oct. 12.

“The FDA-approved Comirnaty and the EUA-authorized Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine have the same formulation and, according to the FDA labeling, can be used interchangeably to provide the COVID-19 vaccination series,” a Pfizer spokesman told The Epoch Times.

However, lawyers representing clients challenging vaccine requirements, say the lack of availability means vaccine mandates based on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval are unlawful. Source
