‘Dangerous’ and ‘evil’: Christian leaders react to rapper Lil Nas X’s ‘Satan Shoes’

Christian and conservative leaders reacted with dismay after Lil Nas X, the artist behind “Old Town Road,” announced he is collaborating with the streetwear company MSCHF on a pair of “Satan Shoes” that contain a drop of human blood in the sole.

The shoes, apparently modified Nike Air Max 97s — are decorated with a pentagram pendant and a reference to Luke 10:18: “And he said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.’”

The sneakers also contain a drop of human blood in the sole, drawn from members of the MSCHF team. A total of 666 pairs — a number widely recognized symbols for the devil — went up for sale Monday at the price of $1,018.  Source: Christian Post (Read the entire article!)

  1. That really makes the “stomach turning” phrase too real. In another place, Worthynews reported “The plaintiff, who goes by “Ann Doe” in the lawsuit, belongs to the Satanic Temple (TST), a group which considers abortion as the culmination of a “religious ceremony” called the Satanic Abortion Ritual, Christian Headlines said. Court documents show that this abortion ritual is conducted before an abortion to help members “cast off guilt, shame, and mental discomfort that the member may be experiencing in connection with their election to abort the pregnancy.” Thereby proving that abortion is exactly what the Bible calls it, a human sacrifice, of the most vulnerable (and least guilty) among us. And they have the nerve to call us “barbaric”? Who would ever have said such things could happen in the USA, when our Seniors were born? Or even when our 40-somethings were born?
