Israeli troops discovered tunnel shafts at a children’s amusement park today. It’s worth noting that this park was built on the ruins of a synagogue in the Jewish settlement of Netzarim, which was evacuated along with 21 other settlements when the Gaza Strip was handed over to the Palestinians in the summer of 2005. Hamas’s use of the civilian population as a shield has been widely reported in the past.
