Covid-19 Is Not a “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated”

On Friday, September 17, the CDC published a study that refutes the common claim that Covid-19 is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Coauthored by more than 50 MD’s and Ph.D.’s, the study contains data on the vaccine status of adults hospitalized with Covid-19 at 21 U.S. hospitals across 18 states during March to August of 2021.

Contrary to assertions from the Associated Press and Anthony Fauci that fully vaccinated people comprise only 1% of those being hospitalized or killed by C-19, the study found that 13% of patients hospitalized with C-19 had been fully vaccinated. Moreover, that 13% figure is just the tip of iceberg because the authors excluded from their study a large group of hospitalized C-19 patients, the bulk of whom were likely vaccinated.

About half of the omitted group and 27% of the C-19 patients in these hospitals were people with “immunocompromising conditions,” such as cancer, HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, scleroderma, and Crohn’s disease. Judge Orders Release of Capitol Surveillance Videos

A judge ordered federal prosecutors to release a collection of Capitol surveillance videos from Jan. 6.

Prosecutors opposed making the videos public and argued that by releasing them would “compromise the security of the United States Capitol and those who work there.” A claim which District Chief Judge Beryl Howell shot down.

Russiagate, More Like Watergate

CNN Chief Media Reporter Brian Stelter hopped on the set of Reliable Sources last weekend, and offered his take on Special Counsel John Durham’s recent indictment of former Perkins Coie attorney Michael Sussmann, calling Durham’s probe a “total bust.” This was in the context of accusing other networks like Fox and OAN of a pattern of “lie, rinse, repeat.”

I was sick last week and didn’t get around to reading the Sussmann case until Tuesday. I can’t imagine Stelter has read it, since the whole thing is about complicity on his side of the media aisle in years of repeat errors and lies, including multiple editorial double-downs even after a major story was publicly exposed as factually incorrect. A long list of press figures — from Stelter’s own CNN colleague and shameless intelligence community spokesclown Natasha Bertrand, to reporters from The New Yorker, Time, MSNBC, Fortune, the Financial Times, and especially Slate and The Atlantic — were witting or unwitting pawns in a scheme to sell the public on a transparently moronic hoax, i.e. that Donald Trump’s campaign was communicating mysterious digital treason to Russia’s Alfa Bank via a secret computer server.  — Read this detailed Op-Ed by Matt Taibbi

Media Hyped ‘Justice For J6’ Rally As The Next ‘Insurrection’ But It Was Another Corrupt Press Dud

For weeks, corporate media hyped up the “Justice for J6” rally as a right-wing plot to attack the Capitol, but their predictions proved to be way off.

The protest started as a rally for Americans to peacefully contest the arrests of more than 600 people who were charged following the Capitol riot on Jan. 6. Former Trump aide Matt Braynard organized and spoke at the event where he said protesters would speak up for Capitol rioters who were “vilified because of their political viewpoints.”

Man with gun arrested at ‘Justice for J6’ rally is a federal law enforcement officer: Reports

A man with a handgun who was arrested on Saturday at the “Justice for J6” rally is a federal law enforcement officer who will not be prosecuted, according to media reports.

The man, 27, is from New Jersey and works as an officer for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, according to The Associated Press. He was arrested during the rally after someone alerted U.S. Capitol Police officers that they “spotted what appeared to be a handgun on a man in the crowd.”

Police said he was charged with unlawful activities on Capitol grounds, but a spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington said prosecutors are “not moving forward with charges,” according to the AP. Source: Washington Times
