Poll: Most blame Biden for border crisis, spells 2022 doom for Democrats

Residents in key swing districts are angry about the historic border crisis, blame President Joe Biden for it, and stand ready to make the Democrats pay for it in the 2022 midterm elections, according to a broad new survey on the illegal immigration calamity.

In 16 battleground congressional districts in 15 states, 56% blame Biden’s dismantling of former President Donald Trump’s policies for the crisis, including a whopping 48% who strongly agree, according to the survey for Heritage Action for America.

And 50% in those districts said that they are “less likely to support Democrat candidates in the 2022 election for Congress” as a result of the surge over the border greenlighted by Biden, said the survey conducted by On Message Inc. of Virginia. — Read More …

Pope Calls for Global Governance and Universal Vaccination Program

Pope Francis issued a letter addressing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund calling for “global governance”, advocating universal vaccination, and lamenting the “ecological” disaster that faces the world.

The letter, dated April 4th, mentioned God just once, in the final line.

Some excerpts from the letter:

While many countries are now consolidating individual recovery plans, there remains an urgent need for a global plan that can create new or regenerate existing institutions, particularly those of global governance, and help to build a new network of international relations for advancing the integral human development of all peoples.

Nor can we overlook another kind of debt: the “ecological debt” that exists especially between the global north and south. We are, in fact, in debt to nature itself, as well as the people and countries affected by human induced ecological degradation and biodiversity loss.

Here, I reiterate my call to government leaders, businesses and international organizations to work together in providing vaccines for all, especially for the most vulnerable and needy.

New York Will Spend $2.1 Billion to Give $15,600 Checks to Illegal Immigrants

New York is set to spend $2.1 billion on direct payments of up to $15,600 to illegal immigrants who lost their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic.

Democrats in the state legislature approved the “excluded workers fund” as part of the state’s $212 billion budget on Tuesday. Roughly 92,000 illegal immigrants are eligible to receive a one-time payment of $15,600 through the program, while hundreds of thousands of others will receive $3,200, according to the Fiscal Policy Institute.

The fund has caused turmoil among state Democrats, as five Democrats voted against the budget in the state senate. Progressive lawmakers have since accused moderate Democrats of racism for expressing concern with the taxpayer-funded provision. Brooklyn state senator Jabari Brisport, a self-described socialist who has compared capitalism to slavery, said Monday that he would no longer work with Democratic legislators who “enable racists” by opposing the fund. — Source

Rabbis Slam Biden Palestine Funding: ‘Every Global Terror Organization Is Delighted’

On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced that his administration has designated $235 million to fund projects in the West Bank and Gaza and resumed funding for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). President Donald Trump had cut off such payments in order to avoid financing the Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund, which rewards the families of Palestinians killed, injured, or imprisoned while carrying out violence against Israel.

A group of more than 1,500 Orthodox Jewish rabbis condemned the move, warning that Biden’s restoration of funding would effectively bankroll terrorism in the Palestinian Authority.

“It is unconscionable that the Biden administration would abandon the successful pro-peace policy agenda of its predecessor,” Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, Israel regional vice president at the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), said in a statement. “The Biden administration has chosen to support organizations that continue to encourage and reward acts of terror and, thus, have not shown a hint of necessary reform.”  — Continue Reading … Source

Christians Must Not Compromise With the Equality Act

The most recent incarnation of the Equality Act is also the most radical version we have yet seen. It’s worth noting as well that it’s closer to becoming law than any version so far put forward.

As a friend of mine would say, this isn’t magic; it’s math. This congressional term, the Equality Act passed the House of Representatives. Though unlikely at this point, a 50-50 tie in the Senate broken by a Democratic White House is feasible, making the Equality Act a live option. Last year, it simply wasn’t. Who knows what the next round of midterms will do to these numbers? — Read this commentary on BreakPoint (the ministry of deceased Chuck Colson)

Parade of Dead Pharaohs in Egypt on Same Day as Splitting of Red Sea

While Jews were celebrating the holiday commemorating the splitting of the Red Sea, a bevy of dead Pharaohs was paraded down the main street of Cairo, echoing Biblical events from nearly 3,000 years ago.

On Saturday, in an event titled The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, the Egyptians moved 22 mummies -18 kings and four queens- with great pomp and flare from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, about 3 miles away in nearby Fustat.

Despite the fragility of the mummies, the cavalcade was accompanied by fireworks and ceremonial salvos from the assembled military honor guard. This military display raised to mind the significance of the day, which was the last day of Passover, the day Jewish tradition maintains the Jews left Egypt with the entire military hot on their trail, led by Pharaoh in his horse-drawn chariot.  — Source

Study: Despite the Pandemic, Religious Liberty Winning at U.S. Supreme Court

It can feel like religious freedom is on the ropes with the attempted government bans on church services over COVID concerns and an aggressive homosexual agenda in the courts.

But a new study shows that at the Supreme Court, religious liberty is winning.

The study, published in The Supreme Court Review, finds that the Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts is much more likely to rule in favor of religious liberty than previous courts have during the past 70 years.

It shows an 81 percent success rate in favor of religious liberty, a 31 percent increase over previous supreme court decisions.  — Source

Of States with the Most New COVID Cases Per Capita, 9 Out of 10 Are Run by Democrats

President Joe Biden labeled states ditching mask mandates as an example of “Neanderthal thinking” last month.

But when the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday released its state-by-state scorecard on COVID-19 cases, most of the “leaders” were states run by Democrats that were clinging to mask mandates and lockdowns.

Texas, which triggered Biden’s “Neanderthal” jab, was at 62.3 cases per 100,000 people over the past seven days, according to the CDC.

Meanwhile, Michigan was at 471 cases per 100,000 people; New Jersey at 335; New York at 248.7; Pennsylvania at 235.4; Connecticut at 230.4; Delaware at 223.4; Rhode Island at 216.4; New Hampshire at 204.8; and Vermont at 202.7. — Source
