Censorship Industrial Complex Exposed in Congressional Hearing

“The censorship industrial complex combines established methods of psychological manipulation some developed by the US military during the global war on terror, with highly sophisticated tools from computer science, including artificial intelligence. The complex’s leaders are driven by their fear that the internet and social media platforms empower populist, alternative, fringe personalities and views which they regard destabilizing,” stated Journalist Michael Shellenberger in his opening statement before a Congressional Committee investigating the Twitter Files.

Journalist Details the Extent of Government Interference During Congressional Hearing

“Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies developed a formal system for taking in moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI, DHS, HHS, DOD, the Global Engagement Center at State, even the CIA. For every government agency scanning Twitter, there were perhaps twenty quasi-private entities doing the same thing,” stated award-winning journalist Matt Taibbi during a Congressional hearing on the Twitter Files.

Weaponization of the Federal Government and the Twitter Files

“Our government built a cozy relationship with big tech, they primed them for a hack and leak operation [Hunter Biden laptop], they funded the think-tank which further primed big tech and big media, they leaked information to undermine the good work of two US Senators, and then 51 former intelligence officials closed the deal with their letter. The information op was run on we the people,” stated Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Oh) in his opening statement during the Twitter Files hearing.

‘Twitter Files’ expose coordination with CIA, State Department, Pentagon

(Worthy Watch) – The latest installment of the “Twitter Files” revealed that the FBI acted “as a doorman” for the social media giant to other government agencies, including the CIA, the State Department and the Pentagon.

“Twitter had so much contact with so many agencies that executives lost track,” journalist Matt Taibbi wrote as he released the ninth batch of internal Twitter files on Saturday evening. “Is today the DOD, and tomorrow the FBI? Is it the weekly call, or the monthly meeting? It was dizzying.”

“The files show the FBI acting as doorman to a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government — from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA.” [ Source: Just the News (Read More…) ]
