A bipartisan group in Congress has introduced the so-called “Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act Of 2021.” It would expand the surveillance and police powers of the national security state in the name of combatting dangerous extremism.
“America must be vigilant to combat those radicalized to violence, and the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act gives our government the tools to identify, monitor and thwart their illegal activities,” Congressman Brad Schneider, one of the bill’s lead sponsors, said. “Combatting the threat of domestic terrorism and white supremacy is not a Democratic or Republican issue, not left versus right or urban versus rural. Today, Facebook’s Oversight admitted that it was WRONG!
In October 2020, a user posted a video and accompanying text in French in a public Facebook group related to COVID-19. The post alleged a scandal at the Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament (the French agency responsible for regulating health products), which refused to authorize hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycin for use against COVID-19, but authorized and promoted remdesivir. The user criticized the lack of a health strategy in France and stated that “[Didier] Raoult’s cure” is being used elsewhere to save lives. The user’s post also questioned what society had to lose by allowing doctors to prescribe in an emergency a “harmless drug” when the first symptoms of COVID-19 appear.
The Oversight Board overturns Facebook’s decision to remove the content and requires that the post be restored.

New York State Attorney General Letitia James issued a report on Thursday in which she accused the Cuomo administration of “severely undercounting” the number of COVID-19 deaths among those in nursing homes by as much as 50 percent, according to The New York Times.
Both James and Gov. Andrew Cuomo are Democrats.
The Times reported that the state’s Health Department counted only those COVID-19 deaths that occurred at the actual nursing homes, excluding the deaths of those “who died at a hospital after being transferred there.” — Source: Western Journal
President Biden is especially letting down military women, who will be ordered to share their private facilities with biological males who claim to be transgender. Directives issued during the Obama-Biden administration, such as the 2016 “Military Transgender Policy Implementation Handbook,” brushed off concerns about personal discomfort and worse. Women, said the guidebook, will just have to “get used to it.”
Eliminating any doubt, Biden’s order explicitly opens doors to sexual minorities who want “access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports” reserved for the opposite sex. Transgender ideology, which demands acceptance of the unscientific notion that gender is “designated” or “assigned at birth,” disregards psychological and biological realities.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is warning that Americans’ religious liberty is in jeopardy.
“Well, I think that it is probably the most endangered that it has been since the Revolutionary War,” Gingrich declared while participating in a panel discussion moderated by Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon.
The panel, which also featured former Congressman Allen West (Ret.) and constitutional attorney Jenna Ellis, was part of a virtual event called “Faith Under Fire” sponsored by the nonprofit My Faith Votes.
Gingrich said that just a “handful of pastors” in the U.S. amid the coronavirus pandemic chose to have services while challenging the government to arrest them for doing so. Wall Street hedge funds worth billions were literally taken to the streets today by Reddit users!
For those who do not know, hedge funds were shorting 140% of Game Stop shares. It’s called a “naked short” when there MORE shares shorted than are actually available for trade. Those on Reddit, many of them — gamers — didn’t like the fact that their franchise store was being under assault! Many of them banned together and bought shares … and kept buying shares!
If someone is caught in a “short-squeeze” and cannot find the shares to cover their short — the losses are limitless! Overnight, billion-dollar hedge funds were broke!
Elon Musk whose Tesla Company was once under assault by the same hedge funds that shorted Tesla sparked enthusiasm amongst the Reddit army — and they just kept buying!
The irony is that these Reddit investors used a platform called Robinhood. So this band of ‘small-time’ stock investors completely have Wall Street in an uproar.
There were lots of stories on Reddit of users who used the money for a good cause.
I couldn’t believe it when I read it, but sure enough, the Biden Justice Department is charging a social media influencer for running an election disinformation campaign by posting a Meme saying that people could vote by text!
