As Turkey gears up for Syria, Iraq invasion, can the US stop them? – analysis

Turkey is gearing up for a new invasion of Syria and possibly expanded campaigns in Iraq, claiming it is a fight against terrorism. A recent bombing in Ankara was blamed on Kurdish groups in Syria, but it appears Ankara arrested a perpetrator who is not linked to any Kurdish group.

Ankara’s threats are not new. It has been threatening and carrying out invasions of Syria, often targeting Kurdish areas, routinely since 2016. Turkey’s policy in Syria is not just about attacking Kurds; it is also about reducing the US’s role in Syria.

That means Ankara’s real conflict is partly with the US and that Washington is the only powerful country that might reasonably prevent another Turkish invasion. History shows Ankara has been demanding to invade and destroy Kurdish areas of Syria since 2016, and the US generally has been able to slow down or prevent these invasions. Source: Jerusalem Post

A new tick-borne disease is killing cattle in the US

In the spring of 2021, Cynthia and John Grano, who own a cattle operation and sell performance horses in Culpeper County, Virginia, started noticing some of their cows slowing down and acting “spacey.” They figured the animals were suffering from anaplasmosis, a common infectious disease that causes anemia in cattle. But Melinda McCall, their veterinarian, had warned them that another disease carried by a parasite was spreading rapidly in the area.

After a third cow died, the Granos decided to test its blood. Sure enough, the test came back positive for the disease: theileria. And with no treatment available, the cows kept dying. In September, by which time the couple had already lost six cows and seven calves, Cynthia noticed a cow separated from the herd. She was walking up to it when it suddenly charged at her and knocked her over, breaking her shoulder blade. By that afternoon, the cow was dead.

Cattle owners like the Granos are not alone. Livestock producers around the country are confronting this new and unfamiliar disease—if they can detect it in their herds at all—without much information. Researchers still don’t know how theileria will unfold in the United States, even as it quickly spreads west across the country. If states can’t get the disease under control, then nationwide production losses from sick cows could significantly damage both individual operations and the entire industry. Source: MIT Technology

Republicans Tie Hunter Biden to Human Trafficking, Announce Probe

House Republicans announced an investigation into President Joe Biden’s family, including his son Hunter Biden, on Thursday just a day after winning control of the lower chamber of Congress in the midterm elections.

Republican Representative James Comer, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, said during a press conference that the probe looked at Hunter Biden’s business dealings and Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in them. At one point, he alleged that one Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), a type of document that banks have to file with the Treasury Department, “connects Hunter Biden and his business associates to international human trafficking, among other illegal activities.”

“The SAR shows that Hunter Biden was conducting business with suspected human traffickers,” Comer said. “The money gained through influence peddling was funneled to a suspected criminal enterprise, again, one linked to human trafficking.” Source: NewsWeek

Detransitioner to ‘Hold the Adults…Accountable’: Announces Plan to Sue Hospital

The trans movement continues its push to indoctrinate and mutilate children with the help of doctors that see an opportunity to line their pockets with the money of confused and misled children.

Corrupt medical practitioners who profit from mutilating gender dysphoric patients may, however, be in for a rude awakening now that victims of this foul practice are beginning to demand justice.

‘Planet killer’ asteroid spotted hiding in the sun’s glare

Astronomers have spotted three near-Earth asteroids that were lurking undetected within the glare of the sun. One of the asteroids is the largest potentially hazardous object posing a risk to Earth to be discovered in the last eight years.

The asteroids belong to a group found within the orbits of Earth and Venus, but they’re incredibly difficult to observe because the brightness of the sun shields them from telescope observations.

To avoid the sun’s glare, astronomers leaped at the chance to conduct their observations during the brief window of twilight. An international team spied the space rocks while using the Dark Energy Camera located on the Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope located at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. Preparing for ‘Armageddon’? Biden Admin Buys $290 Million in Radiation Sickness Drugs

The U.S. government this week bought $290 million in supplies of a drug designed to treat blood cell injuries following radiological and nuclear emergencies as part of what it said were long-standing efforts to prepare for potential health impacts from threats to national security.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services purchased the drug Nplate from Amgen Inc.

When asked whether the purchase, announced Tuesday, was linked to tensions with Russia following its invasion of Ukraine, an HHS spokesperson said it was part of ongoing efforts to prepare for a wide range of threats including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and emerging infectious diseases. ‘Will Not Be Silent on the Truth’: Florida Just Found Out What the Government Does Not Want You to Know About the Vaccine

Biden administration officials must have been absolutely apoplectic following Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo’s recommendation against mRNA COVID-19 vaccines for men aged 18 to 39.

The Florida Department of Health announced Ladapo’s new guidance regarding COVID-19 mRNA vaccines in a late Friday news release. The release stated said the department had “conducted an analysis through a self-controlled case series … [and] found that there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination.”

Twitter Blocks FL Surgeon General Post Warning of ‘Increased Risk of Cardiac-Related Death’ from Vaccine, Then Makes a Huge Reversal

On Friday Florida’s Surgeon General Dr. Joe Ladapo tweeted about cardiac risks related to the COVID vaccine. Twitter blocked the post, but then later allowed it, which has prompted many to once again criticize Twitter for censorship practices.

Ladapo tweeted information about risks associated with the vaccine, particularly for young men, Politico reported.

“Today, we released an analysis on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines the public needs to be aware of. This analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth,” he tweeted along with a link to a press release and a guide from the state’s health department with more information. Source: Western Journal
